REPORT ON THE FIRST ROUND OF THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP FOR 2026 HELD AT KEPERRA CGC ON SUNDAY 8TH FEBRUARY
An excellent field of 34 players fronted up to contest the first round of the 2026 Club Championship at Keperra. Course was in good condition but we were a week early and missed the reopening of the 7th and 8th holes and the return of the Old Course to it's proper format. Welcome to new players Darion Gribic and Jonno Stearn. Also welcome back to Jimmy Stewart after an absence of four years (obviously done a fair bit of practice in that time). The day's competition was a single stableford multiplier and winner with an equal club record score of 55 points was Jimmy Stewart. Runner-up was Tom Benstead with 45 points.NTPs

GOLF CARTS
When Rusty books the courses for the following year at the same time he also books three carts - one for himself, one for Captain, and one for Rudy. If you want a cart you will have to book one yourself because those three carts are always taken. Please book carts well in advance (months) as most clubs have a limited supply.LEGENDS TOUR
The Captain also needs to know numbers for this year's Legends Tour so please let him know ASAP.This years tour is from Sunday 18th to Tuesday 20th October.
Venue is the Hunter Valley with golf at Cypress Lakes on Sunday and the Vintage on Monday and Tuesday.
Accommodation is at Peppers@The Vintage (4 star) for two nights.
Cost is $699 for accommodation, golf with carts and transfers.
Airfares with Jetstar are available at $255 return.
Deposit will need to be paid at a later date
